Comparing the Movie to the Book

Today I want to talk about how movies can be different than books.  there were three differences I remember in the chamber of secrets book and movie.  One of them was when one of the dwarfs grabbed Harry's leg trying to give Harry his Valentine card but Harry didn't want one so the dwarf slipped it in to his pocket.  But that wasn't in the movie.  The movie was more scary than the book.  When Harry and Ron took the flying car they didn't get seen by Muggles in the book but in the movie they did.

I liked the book better than the movie.  There was a lot more detail in the book.  I learned more about the characters in the book.

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets Review

First, I think the book was good.

Here are some things I liked about the book.I loved the part when Ron burped out the slugs.  It was so disgusting!  My favorite quote was from Ron when he said, "Why do we have to follow the spiders why can't it be butterflies?"

I didn't like the part when they drunk the polyjuice potion because it made me almost vomit.  I stopped reading for a day or two when I got bored of  Harry potter.

Overall I liked the book because of all the magical things.  But some parts weren't so magical for me.

Imagination

Today I want to talk about how books can be more exciting than movies.  Books have more information that movies leave out.  In books you can imagine wonderful things but, in movies it's different from what you imagined.  Because if you read a book then watch a movie the movie leaves out details.  So keep reading!
